Short break ringing trips. Regular district meetings and social events. History of the Guild Guild president Janet Stevenson has published a wonderful book entitled 'A History of the Ladies' Guild of Change Ringers 1912 - 2000'. It is the story of the early pioneers of ladies ringing and how they managed to establish themselves in spite of considerable oppostion. It also tells of the exploits of the Guild in its heyday in the 50's and 60's, then comes right up to date with current activities. |
